If I take your case, I will draft a service agreement that captures the scope of the investigation and what specific deliverables you desire. I am a retired Peace Officer with 27 years’ experience. My Private Investigator License can be verified at the California Bureau of Security and Investigative Services website below. If I am doing a one-off background report the cost is $350.00. Also, If I am sweeping for broadcasting devices (GPS Bugs ect...) the cost is $500.00. Typically, I charge $80.00 per hour and .58 per mile, portal to portal against a $2,500.00 nonrefundable retainer. Non typical cases will be determined when we talk and agree on specific rates and retainer fees. While retained I bill a minimum of 30 minutes per day for reviewing deliverables and monitoring of progress. I take pride in excellent customer service and would like to help you if I can.
